SAT's and GPAs of people that I know for 2006:Oct 12 2006Biology
SAT's and GPAs of people that I know for 2006:
1200 & 4.7, 1270 & 4.6, 1280 & 4.3, 1360 & 4.6,
SAT and GPA of rejected:
1270 & 4.4, quite a few people in the top 10% of my class

the usual pointless extracuric. activities that everyone hates naturally do help. I did guitar, football league, Key Club

also helps being a visible minority.

Score HIGH on your SAT or ACT and get good gradesSep 18 2006Electrical Engineering
Score HIGH on your SAT or ACT and get good grades. It's as simple as that.
SAT: 1190 Male
I had a 3Aug 07 2006Undecided
I had a 3.8 GPA unweighted in high school. Took some AP classes, not many. SAT was 1400 on old test. No SAT II and no ACT. No awards, and I wasn't really in any clubs in high school. It isn't too hard to get into UF.

But to be one of their pets, be a National Merit Scholar, volunteer half your life, and be a genius... Or be a successful athlete, Joakim Jr. They treat excellent students (and athletes) very well I hear.

It's not too hard to get into the University,Jul 26 2006Unknown
It's not too hard to get into the University, but do well on SATs and GPA (above 1400 and 3.9) to get into the Honors Program. Extracurriculars aren't really considered if your numbers are high, but if they are low than you may consider looking elsewhere.
ACT: 33 SAT: 1470 Male
I had a 3Mar 01 2006Math
I had a 3.01 in HS and no extra cirricular activities. Spent a year getting an AA with 3.3 gpa and got into math program. Graduating summa so whatever. recommend you go to community college for a year and then transfer with AA. Almost guaranteed admission.
